How To Use Peckerhead Mustache Wax
Peckerhead Mustache Wax is a strong hold mustache wax that provides an all-day hold for seriously-stubborn mustaches. It is a harder, tackier wax than most others brands that you'll find out there, and it most certainly will not melt easily, if at all. It will only become more pliable. If it did melt easily, it would not offer a strong hold. Ingredients include locally-harvested beeswax for the hold, pine resin to make it tacky, and lanolin to make it somewhat manageable. Seasoned mustache wearers shouldn't have a problem using this product. For those new to the mustache game, here are a few tips on how to use Peckerhead Mustache Wax.
- Carry the tin of mustache wax in your pocket for at least 15-20 minutes to warm it up. this makes it more pliable, easier to remove from the tin, and thus easier to work with. This is not necessary, but makes the entire application process much easier. Peckerhead is stiffer and tackier than most other strong hold mustache waxes, and will not melt easily, if at all.
- Remove the desired amount of wax from the tin with the back of your fingernail or thumbnail, rub between your thumb and finger (this is for better application, as it will not melt) and apply to your mustache from the middle of your stache out to the tips of the hairs to achieve the desired look. The wax should dry to a firm hold a short time after. The amount of wax needed varies based on the size of your mustache, as well as the look you are trying to achieve.
- To remove the wax, wash your mustache with warm water and soap. If you use enough of Peckerhead Mustache Wax in your mustache, it will typically last well into the next day and will not be easy to remove.
